how to Repair seams
Step 1
If seams burst like this and you can’t get through the lining to close them up, you can slipstitch the gap instead.
Step 2
Start with a threaded needle with a knot a few centimetres from the end.
Step 3
Pull it through both sides of the seam, just before where the opening starts and as close to the seam as you can make it.
Step 4
Bring the needle back to the starting point and repeat step three slightly further along.
Step 5
Continue until you’re just past the end of the opening.
Step 6
At the end, turn and slowly stitch back towards the original knot.
Step 7
When you’re back at the knot, tie the two ends together 2 or 3 times to secure.
Step 8
Trim the excess threads.
Step 9
You should now have a repaired seam!
